ADHD woman Katrin May, 30, was raised by one parent from a culture famed for indirectness and another from a culture which is famously direct, and also has a brain which makes her more prone to impulsivity and sensitive to rejection. “It’s quite hard for me to be around most people most of the time, basically,” May said.
