An ADHDer has opened an interactive museum dedicated to the things she has spontaneously bought and not found a use for or returned.
Amy Shields, 44, from Whistable, said: “It’s the ultimate solution! Who said that being ADHD and being creative just means being an artist or a comedian! I am literally thinking outside the box here! The box for my bargain rice cooker, which I threw out before I realised it was broken…”
Objects on display include a set of early 90s car stickers from eBay and a gallery of fitness equipment dating back to the 2000s accompanied by a rack of citrus-coloured leggings from online flash sales with unscrupulous hidden costs.
“I paid enough flipping import tax for those leggings, so it’s nice someone else wants to pay to look at them,” Shields added.
